Andar Bahar Game – Online Casino Slot in India
Andar Bahar (Katti or Mangata) is a popular card game originating from South India, which first appeared in Bangalore. Extremely simple yet addictive, it has captured the attention of hundreds of thousands of gamblers around the world. Unlike other card games like blackjack and baccarat, the player does not directly participate in the game, but only tries to predict the victory of one of the two sides by betting on the Andar or Bahar sector.
What Is Online Andar Bahar?
Andar Bahar card game is a 50/50 game using a standard 52-card deck. There are only two sides to the hand – the player and the dealer. The playing area is divided into three sectors:
- The left is Andar;
- The central one is the Joker;
- The right one is Bahar.
The gambler bets on one of the two sides, after which the dealer draws a card from the middle of the deck, which becomes the Joker. The cards are then placed alternately on the free sectors, with the first card always dealt to Andar. The winner is the one who first receives the card corresponding to the value of the Joker.
Example: when Joker Jacks the right sector gets a card of the same value first. In this case Bahar wins.
- Andar: 0.9 to 1;
- Bahar: 1 to 1.
Optional additional bets can be placed on the number of cards within which a card of the same value as the Joker appears on the field:

When playing the Andar Bahar game online, the user can apply a multiplier to the side bets on the number of cards. The multiplier ranges from 1 to 5, but is higher in some versions of video slots.
